Laurie has been a proud member of the Radian Partners team since 2006, and currently provides support to 3 independent financial advisors. A native Memphian with twenty-eight years of combined experience in management, marketing, customer service, and information technology, she also holds Tennessee Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses, and is a Shelby County, Tennessee, Notary Public.

Her diverse background includes adjusting and processing homeowner’s, automobile, and worker’s compensation claims, as well as rating fire policies for a company which worked closely with Lloyd’s of London to write high-risk policies. Additionally, Laurie quoted rates and tracked shipments for a local export company which shipped various area goods including cotton, rice, lumber, and cranes to far-flung corners of the globe.

Laurie was sole proprietor of a British imports company which she actively managed and operated for ten years. She was involved in all aspects of operating the physical storefront and online catalog, as well as managing several employees. Her yearly trips abroad to attend British trade fairs helped to acquire an interesting variety of heritage-related merchandise for her customers and also fulfilled a lifelong interest in her own ancestry.
