Franklin C. Weightman, PhD, CEP, AIFA® - Franklin C. Weightman, Ph.D., CEP, AIFA is a Senior Partner at Radian Partners, LLC, a respected financial and wealth management educator, and trusted advisor to business owners, high net worth individuals, and affluent families.
For all that, at heart, Frank will tell you that he’s a teacher. As a financial educator, Frank trains adult learners in financial literacy training workshops in Middle and West Tennessee. As he talks with adults aged 50-70, Frank demonstrates how to prepare for the next chapter of their financial lives and how to avoid the economic minefields created by The Great Recession of 2008. He does it with practical illustrations from his financial practice which spans more than 15 years in the industry. In the critical area of estate planning and protection, Frank is also a Certified Estate Planner, accredited through The American Academy of Certified Estate Planners. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst, an industry designation that allows him to analyze and fix retirement plans.
So why should you attend? When’s the last time you met someone who could explain highly complex, financial concepts and ideas in easy-to-understand, layman’s language? He also connects to the experience of his audience. In addition to 19 years of experience in higher education, Frank has a broad background in communications consulting and brings to his workshops hands-on experience from dot-coms, information technology R & D, corporate retail management, logistics/distribution, and customer service.
Day to day, he guides his clients through the practical execution of retirement planning, tax reduction, income stream planning, investment risk management, and estate preservation at Radian’s Franklin and Memphis offices. He holds an earned Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Certified Estate Planner designation. Since joining Radian Partners in 2004, Frank has earned the following FINRA registrations: General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Registered Investment Advisor (Series 66).
