A goal without a plan is just a wish. – Antoine de Saint Exupery
What do you want retirement to look like? Is it a wish or are you actively working your plan? I partner with you to help plan your retirement journey-that's a pretty tall order with all the buzz about increased longevity, rising health care expenses, high unemployment, and a fragile economic and political environment. As challenging as it may seem, we set out on the journey with a list of goals that we are looking to achieve. We seek opportunities to adapt, grow and flourish, and we expect the same from our retirement plan. Understanding pensions, managing cash flow and taxation, balancing competing financial concerns, leaving a legacy, rectifying the idealized retirement vision vs. the real deal- these are the typical concerns of the fledgling retiree. In our struggle for independence from money, we find ourselves held captive to it, forgoing a sound plan.
As an independent financial advisor, I offer more than traditional wealth management. A comprehensive financial analysis provides the starting point for the retirement route. Belonging to an independent model allows us to act in the client’s best interest; in fact, it is our promise, our fiduciary responsibility.
I am thankful for the diversity and enrichment life's opportunities have conferred, and look forward to exploring, discovering, seizing, embarking on this journey with each client as a strategist, an analyst, a collaborator, and a partner. My value-added proposition is to research, educate and inform, especially as it relates to possible tax implications. Although I love surprises, I don't care for the April 15 variety.
